Commission: Floating Hood in Brown by Antiquity-Dreams Commission: Floating Hood in Brown by Antiquity-Dreams
Sooo I had a commission to do another floating hood in brown satin, which was fun. I chose a nice matte satin because I hate almost everything shiny as it turns up terrible in most photos XD!

This one has a little clip in the front to make sure that it stays in your hair and there is some fancy stitching along the base just because.

random: I didn't mean to lift an eyebrow in the photo, it just happened and I realize I need to do it less because it makes me look.... evil queen-esque. Lol

If you're interested in a commission like this or something else note me with the following:

Name of Character
1-2 Links to pictures of the costume with exact details of what you want in the picture. (Example: I just want the necklace, or, I want the shirt and pants but not the shoes...etc)
Measurements of your: Chest, Waist, Hips, Height, Weight
Deadline (if any) for the costume

First: I love your work, both personal and commissions!

I want to make a Floating/Unattached Hoodie for cosplay reasons and I was wondering if you could give any tips, as far as the patterning? I'm assuming it works the same as an actually hoodie-hood, just that the front pieces are slightly elongated to incorporate a snap - is this accurate or is there a better way to go about it? (I'm also making it out of fleece, not satin)

Thank you in advance! <3

Reply to myself - I'm just adding the finishing pieces to my floating-hood; my assumption worked & I think it came out really cute! <3

Thank you for the inspiration =D
