So *
supernovadobe and I were asked to do these Harem girl outfits for our Sinbad (Magi the Labyrinth of Magic) *
Tora-rin. I jumped on it cause I love making original outfits, especially in that genre.
So my outfit I made in a night and it was lots of fun (you'll see more of it later) then I made Naru's Ghawazee coat, top and wig while she worked on the pants and everything else. Go team! And with our powers combined we made these beautiful outfits.
I gotta say though... the most annoying thing about the costume was the sheer lack of gold and purple jewelry to be found. There was lots of purple and silver (of course) but not enough purple and gold. So, in the end, I bought a lot of purple and silver then gold leafed it into being purple and gold. The result was awesome and it worked so well
!
Also, I wanted to mention the amazing hard work of our very talented photographer. ~
SNTP was out there in the 100 degree weather diligently spending ours taking this shoot with us. He also did all the post edits after taking a series of these beautiful pictures and I'm just so enamored with his work that I had to give him props here. This is the same guy who did our Shizuo and Izaya (Durarara) photos, in case you're wondering. Yeah, he's just that amazing.
