Swimsuit Fashion

Lordy lordy these costumes. In case you were wondering, we did actually make both of the swimsuits. Getting stripes that "perfect" was a challenge but I was bound and determined to pull it off. Turned out to be not as hard as I expected.

The wig, on the other hand, was exactly as hard as I expected. It was originally supposed to have natural curls in it but when I got the thing was straight as an ironing board. At least it was layered :/. So, because it's a heat resistant wig, I took a curling iron to it and prayed to the wig gods to be extra special nice to me. Seriously, I was sweating bullets because I was SUPER sure I was going to melt the damn thing.

Turns out, the curling iron worked like a charm. Of course, I had to do a little research to figure out exactly how to do it but it turned out to be a win (or so I think).

I also made the call bracelet and ring for Bunny ! I nearly ruined the call bracelet RIGHT before con but I managed to fix it and they make me happy. Honestly, if they were less fragile, I'd wear them both ALL THE TIME !!!

So after reading all this, I can tell some of you are thinking "Why on earth did you do THESE outfits?"

Simple: Because they make me laugh every time I see them. Plus, I was aiming for something a little different seeing as how there are already SO many AMAZING T&B cosplayers out there doing their civis that I wanted to branch off a little. Don't get me wrong, we ARE still going to do their civi clothes, but for now (and because it was y-con), this is what you get. Lawl Enjoy XD
