i know you didn't want sympathy but i have to say is i'm sorr for you, your friend and for her family.
i've lost one important person in my life, so i know the feelings..i shall send this message over into my journal too, everyone needs to realize how important each person in their life really is. thanks for the message, told my dad how much he meant when i read this and he got really happy (:
I just did this a few days ago, maybe it has to do with the fact that I just got married to my wife! = ) But, Something so important like this always gets forgotten! One day it just hits you, mostly by the time it's too late...life is just too busy or stressful and some things get overlooked. This just makes me want to send out more love!!!
Thank-You for reminding us all whats really important and NOT to be oblivious to what IS really important. = )
I certainly understand this sentiment, and it's inspired me to send messages or phone calls out to my friends to let them know how I care. I know nothing can ever really fill the void of a lost loved one...believe me, I've missed the opportunity to tell someone I cared already...
So I thank you for these sincere words, it's given me the courage I need to say things I've been holding back on.
I'm really sorry that happened. I wish I could tell you I know how it feels, but I don't. This reminded me to really cherish my friends and family, as I have come close to losing both my sister (breast cancer) and mom (car accident).
I was unaware you had lost someone of importance to you. I am truly sorry for your loss. I know you have asked for no sympathy, but in a time such as this, one should be there for a person to lean on, talk to, or just to have a friend. No one can ever feel exactly as you are feeling, but as a friendly gesture, I would like you to know I'm here. If you feel you need anything at all, please note me. Do not hesitate. I am very approachable and would like to be a friend in this time.
Cherish every moment you have with every person that you meet. That way, everyone shall know just how important they are, and that they too mean something. Everyone on this Earth has importance.
I always tell my best friend I love her before hanging up on the phone when I'm going to bed...I think I'll tell her when she picks up too. Truly sorry for your loss, hang in there.
