What is a Kiriban and how to take a screenshot

Journal Entry: Fri Mar 27, 2009, 8:28 PM
Only 645 views to go....

I've noticed several people are unsure of what a Kiriban is, so, I'm here to explain.

A Kiriban, in regards to DA, is basically a set number of page views that you're trying to reach. A "milestone" if you will.

My Kiriban is set at 55,555 which means, if you are page viewer 55,555 then take a screen shot of your page, upload the image somewhere (DA, photobucket..etc..) and send me the link.

Not sure how to take a screenshot? &n… is one of the most helpful and easy to understand sites that explains how to do it.

What do you get if you win?

Generally the winner/s get to pick a character that I have cosplayed along with a theme or idea for the picture. Vague ideas are okay, specific is better.  Either way, I'll do the picture and put your name somewhere on it.

In example:… a Kiriban prize I did for a Koi Cosplay Kiriban winner.

Anyway, that's all for now. More later after the Kiriban is won (aka after I get over being bed ridden sick >.< stupid flu). Happy Kiriban hunting *hands out snacks to those camping on her page*

You take a screen shot by pressing the PRTSC, which means Print Screen and it is usually located on the top right corner of the keyboard. Once you've located and pressed the PRTSC button, open paint, then paste the image. Afterwards, save the image under any given file type and uploaded in photobucket or a site similar to recieve the url of the uploaded image.
