Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Hey everyone~! Sorry I've been on a rather unannounced hiatus for a while because I've simply been too busy with life and everything else going on around me. Plus, with Yaoi con coming up, I've been busy working on my new costumes and wigs to début ^^! Exciting huh?

Anyway! The reason why I'm writing is because a lot of people have asked me to update my youtube but.. I'm not really sure what to talk about. Kind of brain dead from work and life lol.

So, I'm here to ask YOU guys what you want see/hear? Do you guys have any questions that you've always wanted to ask but couldn't ever find anyone to ask? Too embarrassing or.. something?

I know a lot of people have asked me for a cosplay tutorial but I'm not sure I have the time for that so don't ask XD I MAY do it in the future but not right now.

really desperate for opinions on this and sorry it's too serious so because of events i'm sure my parents know i'm bi or at least like guys but they've never even slightly mentioned it or hinted at all about it and neither have i but apart from being nervous around some conversations and treating me sliiightly different it's fine and the same at the moment i'm not sure what'd happen if i actually said it and talked to them about it and was out around them although their reaction to finding out seemed bad and that's probably a hint so i'm scared should i just not mention it
