I'm back!Happy new year everyone!
I know it's too late though XDXDXD
Anyway, I'm getting ready to be back on the stage XD
I feel quite well these days (although I can't get rid of my cold XD), have free time to make costumes,
and above all, my dear friend has come back to cosplay with me~>.
36 - status report taiwan cosplay - firstsummer holidays and i seriously need to get 6 subjects worth of study notes and homework and studying done in 3 weeks...SO LET'S MAKE A TAIWAN COSPLAY COSTUME!
we have no plans on what to wear for Free Comic Book Day or any A@A bbq yet so...i guess possible costume for those events?

WIG:
i went on a shopping spree on ebay when i made my first ever ebay purchase...and one of my random purchases was a chocolatey/dark-chestnut wig
THANK GOODNESS I DECIDED TO BUY THAT ALL THOSE YEARS AGO!
it's a bit too light at the tips, and it's a slightly too short for my liking (hehe used to having loooong hair~)... so i think i'll buy loose wig hair (or affordable extensions) of around the same colour but a bit darker and i'll just weft them and sew them in maybe?
so i think we're good!
SHOES:
PURCHASED! pink flats from the Rubi boxing day/new year sale! $5! AWWW YES! perhaps we might add yellow ribbon or rope...because you know~
FLOWERS:
purchased plastic camellias!
SupaNova Brisbane + Photoshoot UpdatesHey everyone! Arrived back in Brisbane a week ago~ Sydney was heaps of fun and I had a great time meeting everyone :)
Lately Iv'e been working on my SupaNova cosplays. I'll be attending both days of nova As Black Gold Saw & Pervy Homura  ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

Iv'e been working on Black Gold Saw for a year now and it's definitely one of the most expensive costumes Iv'e made (;*´Д`)ﾉ
But I'm really happy to be finally debuting it for all to see! Iv'e still got a lot of sewing and prop making ahead of me but hopefully I'll finish everything in time~ (Want to add that I'll be towering over everyone with my 15cm platform boots haha)
Pervy Homura was just a costume that I already have and since Black Gold Saw will take up a lot of time and money I'm just wearing a cosplay that is already complete~ I have a new wig and contacts for her whoop whoop >w
lol..I drew myself a birthday picture from one of my character's point of views for tomorrow..

Youtube Sailor Moon Wig Tutorial



It's finished! So happy to have done this project and completed everything :)!

It's a step-by-step tutorial on how to make the Sailor Moon wig featured above. I go everything from materials needed to where you can get a lot of said materials.

The Wig and Ponytail clip are from Arda Wigs (arda-wigs.com)

* Chibi Wig in 013 Light Blonde
* Long Ponytail Clip (over 40" long) 013 Light Blonde

Other materials used:

* Hair pick
* Scissors
* Low heat hot glue
* 2 Styrofoam balls - From Joanne's or Michaels (2 inch)
* Small rubber bands
* Matching Thread
* Large Needle
* Curling iron
* Hair Spray
* Small bowl of ice water
* Wighead (beauty supply store)
* Wig head holder (beauty supply store)

Thank you SO MUCH for the tutorial! I've seen so many ways to do this over the years and now that I'm finally getting down to doing it I'm grateful to have an exact break down of how it's done and what I need. Makes me safer in the knowledge that if I'm patient, the end product will work out as well in real life as it did in my head. :)

this is sooo cute! it was very helpful, you are so smart! hmm, i think that if i didn't already order my sailor moon wig from ebay i would do exactly what you have shown me...damn this was a great tutorial, i won't forget the icy water though ;) hehehe

oh my gosh - thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial! i was having such a hard time with arda's fibers - but i'll be prepared for my next chibi moon wig! thank you again! i love the ice water trick :)
