Progression

They had been waiting for nearly an hour.

Sakura was sick, Sasuke was particularly grouchy, and Kakashi had TOLD them to be there and there they were.. waiting and waiting and, for a change, waiting.

Naruto was at his wits end. He was anxious and it showed in the way he drummed his fingers against the stone of the bench. He had officially been alone with the teme for an hour and neither of them had said a word. Not really for lack of wanting to but it seemed that every time Naruto opened his mouth, Sasuke would shoot him a glare.

So the silence announced their stalemate and Naruto continued to drum his fingers. That is, until he lifted his hand to wipe his nose and the Uchiha took that moment to lean back in his very apparent boredom. He wasn't looking at the blond nor did he seem particularly interested in anything when Naruto leaned back as well and placed his hand where it had previously been.

At first, he didn't move, pretending not to notice the offending appendage on top of his all in hopes that Naruto would remove his hand and they could go about their lives as if this awkward moment had not happened. However, when the Uzumaki didn't remove his hand he turned to look at said offender. Yep, still there.

Grey eyes lifted from the hand to the attached body and finally to the blue eyes burning into his.

Shit. He ALMOST flinched.

For Naruto, this could only mean one thing..

Sasuke loved him. No doubt in his mind.

For Sasuke, this could only mean one thing..

It was going to be a very VERY long morning.

It occurred to me that I haven't posted any of our Umbrella shoot so I'm going to start throwing those pictures up until I get new ones. You know, to keep you all entertained for a while ^__^!
